Our lectures and courses are specifically aimed at medical professionals who meet the minimum requirements for working on board a vessel and who work in austere conditions in a maritime environment. We take into account what you have and what you don’t have on board the vessel where you practice. We won’t advise you to do a CT or MRI or send for the anaesthetist, as we know you are on board a moving ship. The course material might advise you to send the patient for a CT scan in the next port where it is available.

If you use this material in your practice, you understand and agree that you are personally responsible for your patients and neither the ICSM nor any of its officers can be held liable for any damages that you or your patients may suffer.
